We hope every Stitched Poetry piece feels as special to wear as it was to create. However, if something isn't quite right, we're here to help.

Returns & Exchanges

Most Stitched Poetry outfits are eligible for a return or exchange.

As every piece is thoughtfully crafted in small batches and often made to order, we are able to accommodate one return or exchange per order.

Eligible for Return/Exchange

  • Standard sizes S–XXL
  • Request raised within 3 days of delivery
  • Outfit must be unused, unwashed, with original tags and packaging intact

Not Eligible

  • Customized or made-to-measure outfits
  • Sale, discounted or promotional purchases
  • Gift cards (if applicable)

Every Stitched Poetry outfit is handcrafted by skilled artisans. Slight variations in colour, weave, embroidery or print placement are part of its handmade charm and make each piece beautifully unique and hence, they are not considered defects.

Partial Cash on Delivery (COD)

To make the shopping experience smoother while reducing unaccepted shipments, we offer Partial Cash on Delivery.

  • COD Charge: ₹350
  • Advance Payment: ₹850 (₹500 advance + ₹350 COD charge)
  • The remaining order value is payable upon delivery.

A few important things to know

  • If a COD parcel is refused, not accepted, or remains undelivered due to customer non-acceptance, the entire prepaid amount of ₹850 will be forfeited.
  • If your order is eligible for a return, only the outfit value will be issued as Store Credit. The ₹350 COD handling charge is non-refundable.

How do I request a Return or Exchange?

Simply reach out to us within 3 days of receiving your order with your Order ID and the reason for your request.

We offer return pickups for select serviceable pin codes. If a pickup isn't available in your area, we request you to self-ship the outfit to us. Our team will guide you through the entire process and share the return address, whichever option applies to your location.

Refunds

We currently offer refunds in the form of Store Credit, allowing you to choose another Stitched Poetry piece you'll love.

Once your returned outfit reaches us and clears our quality inspection, your Store Credit (equivalent to the outfit value) will be issued within 15 days.

  • Store Credit is valid for 3 months
  • Shipping charges and COD charges are non-refundable.

Order Cancellation

Plans can change, we understand.

Orders may be cancelled within 6 hours of being placed.

Please note that orders placed during sales, promotional events or special discounts cannot be cancelled.

If you receive a damaged or defective outfit

Every outfit goes through multiple quality checks before it leaves our studio. In the rare event that you receive a damaged or defective piece, please write to us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Your Order ID
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product

Our team will carefully review your request and get back to you within 48 hours with the best possible resolution.

Ordered the wrong size?

If your outfit doesn't fit quite the way you expected, don't worry—we'll be happy to help with an exchange, subject to our return policy.

Please contact us within 3 days of delivery, and our team will guide you through the next steps.

Kindly note:

  • We accept one exchange per order.
  • Customized and sale items are not eligible for exchange.
  • If return pickup is unavailable for your pin code, the outfit will need to be self-shipped to us.

Our Price Policy

At Stitched Poetry, every collection is thoughtfully priced at the time of launch.

As a result, we are unable to offer:

  • Price adjustments on previous purchases
  • Retroactive discounts
  • Refunds if an item is marked down at a later date

Our sales and promotional events are planned independently, and prices applicable at the time of purchase are considered final.
