Refund policy
We hope every Stitched Poetry piece feels as special to wear as it was to create. However, if something isn't quite right, we're here to help.
As every piece is thoughtfully crafted in small batches and often made to order, we offer one return or exchange per order.
1. Returns on Full-Price Purchases
Full-price products purchased directly from www.stitchedpoetry.com are eligible for return within 3 days of delivery.
For eligible full-price purchases, you may choose one of the following:
- Refund to your bank account

Store Credit
- Exchange for another product
A ₹200 reverse shipping fee will be deducted from the refund amount or applicable store credit.
Products must be returned in their original, unused and unworn condition, with all original tags, packaging and labels intact.
We cannot accept returns for products that have been worn, washed, altered, damaged, stained, perfumed or otherwise used.
2. Discounted & Promotional Purchases
Products purchased at a discount are considered Final Sale.
This includes:
- Products purchased during a sale
- Products purchased using a discount or promotional coupon code
- Special promotional offers or individually issued discount codes
These purchases are not eligible for refunds, returns or exchanges.
This does not affect your rights in the case of a product being damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped.
3. Customized & Made-to-Measure Products
Customized, altered or made-to-measure products are not eligible for return, refund or exchange, unless the product received is damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped.
4. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives damaged, defective or you have received an incorrect product, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at support@stitchedpoetry.com.
Please share:
-Your Order ID
-A brief description of the issue
-Clear photographs of the product
-A clear video of the parcel being opened, showing the package and product, to help us verify any discrepancy
Once the issue is verified by our team, we will arrange the return at no cost to you.
For verified damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped products, you may receive:
- A replacement, subject to availability;
- or A full refund to your bank account;
- or Store Credit, if preferred.
The ₹200 reverse shipping fee will not be deducted in cases where the product is confirmed to be damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped by Stitched Poetry.
Please note that slight variations in colour, weave, embroidery or print placement are inherent to handcrafted products and are not considered defects.
5. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, the product must:
-Be unused and unworn
-Be unwashed
-Be free from stains, marks, perfume, makeup or other signs of use
-Have all original tags and labels attached
-Be returned in its original packaging
-Be in saleable condition
Stitched Poetry reserves the right to reject a return if the product does not meet these conditions.
6. How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with your Order ID and the reason for your return.

We offer return pickups for select serviceable pin codes. If a pickup isn't available in your area, you may be required to self-ship the outfit to us. Our team will guide you through the process and share the return address.
Once your return request is approved, we will arrange the return pickup or provide self-shipping instructions, as applicable.
A ₹200 reverse shipping fee will be deducted from the refund or store credit issued.
7. Refund Processing
Refunds will be initiated after the returned product has been received and successfully cleared our quality inspection.
Refunds will be transferred to the bank account details provided by the customer.
Please allow 7–10 business days after the return has been approved for the refund to reflect in your account.
The following are non-refundable:
- Original shipping charges, if any
- COD handling charges, where applicable
- ₹200 reverse shipping fee
The refund amount will therefore be calculated after deducting all applicable non-refundable charges.
8. Store Credit
Where Store Credit is selected, it will be issued after the returned product has been received and successfully inspected.
Store Credit:
-Is valid for 3 months from the date of issue
-Can be used towards purchases on www.stitchedpoetry.com
-Cannot be exchanged for cash
-Cannot be transferred to another person
-Cannot be extended beyond its validity period under any circumstances
9. Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled within 6 hours of being placed.

Orders placed during sales, promotional events or special discounts cannot be cancelled.
Once an order has entered production or been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.
10. Our Price Policy
At Stitched Poetry, every collection is thoughtfully priced as per the requirements.
As a result, we are unable to offer:
-Price adjustments on previous purchases
-Retroactive discounts
-Refunds if an item is marked down at a later date
Our sales and promotional events are planned independently, and the price applicable at the time of purchase is considered final.
11. Important
Products purchased using any discount, promotional code or special offer are considered Final Sale and cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged.
Products that are damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped by Stitched Poetry are exempt from this restriction and will be resolved separately.
Stitched Poetry reserves the right to amend this policy from time to time. The policy applicable to your order will be the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
Wash Care & Storage
- Every Stitched Poetry outfit is hand-dyed and thoughtfully crafted in-house. To ensure hygiene and check for any colour bleeding, all pieces are professionally dry cleaned before they are packed and sent to you.
- We recommend dry cleaning only. Please choose a trusted dry-cleaning service that does not use harsh chemicals, as delicate fabrics, dyes, and handcrafted details require gentle care.
- Kindly note that Stitched Poetry will not be able to accept returns or exchanges for damage caused during washing or dry cleaning.
- Each order comes with a complimentary storage bag. We recommend storing your outfit in it to protect it from humidity, direct sunlight, and harsh artificial light, helping preserve its colour, texture, and craftsmanship for years to come.
Exchange Policy
We understand that sometimes you love the piece, but the size isn't quite right. For eligible full-price purchases, we're happy to offer an exchange.

5. Size Exchanges
If your outfit doesn't fit quite the way you expected, we will be happy to help with a size exchange, subject to availability.
If the required size is unavailable, you may choose another eligible product of the same value or opt for Store Credit.
6. Price Difference
If the replacement product is higher in price, the difference will need to be paid before the replacement is dispatched.
If the replacement product is lower in price, the difference will be issued as Store Credit, valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
7. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect product, please contact us within 3 days of delivery.
Please share your Order ID, photographs and a clear video of the parcel being opened.
Once verified, Stitched Poetry will arrange the return and replacement at no additional cost.
The ₹200 reverse shipping fee will not apply in such cases.
8. Handmade Variations
Every Stitched Poetry outfit is handcrafted by skilled artisans. Slight variations in colour, weave, embroidery or print placement are part of the handmade nature of the product and are not considered defects.
9. No Repeated Exchanges
Each order is eligible for one exchange request per product.
Once an exchanged product has been delivered, it cannot be exchanged again.
